CONSERVATION and RESTORATION
What objectives do we have ?
Our treatment protocols are governed by the ethical code of the profession, we aim to restore the readability and aesthetic of the art works we treated, while ensuring their long-term conservation. We also guarantee the documentation of each state of the interventions carried out.
Organization and project management
Each project begins with a diagnostic study of the alterations and a discussion with the owner/custodian of the work to define the precise objectives of the intervention.
What types of treatment do we offer?
We carry out a wide range of restoration treatments: removal of unsightly old restorations, stabilization of progressive alterations (treatment of soluble salts by desalination, consolidation of cracked or powdery surfaces and flaking glazes), bonding of fragmentary objects, filling of gaps with a choice of different degrees of retouching, production of facsimiles and reconstitution of missing decorative elements.
What types of objects can we work on?
We are specialized in all types of ceramics, glass and enamel. This includes sculptures and figurines, decorative objects, archaeological finds, utility crockery, contemporary art works, architectural ceramics, tile decorations, historic stoves and fireplaces.

Condition assessment and preliminary study.
We carry out condition assessments and alteration diagnosis to recommend targeted restoration protocols. These interventions can be done on your premises or in our workshop.
We can support you in your projects by drawing up preliminary studies, specifications, budget estimate and projected schedules.
Our expertise can also be called upon for architectural ceramics, contemporary art installations and outdoor sculptures.

We can also give advices in preventive conservation for the storage and the display of your collection.
We offer as well services of inventory of the collections and cultural mediation with the visitors, for the museums and fondations.
